San Diego County, zip code by zip code

July 27, 2026, across 24 hourly periods from 00:00 through 23:00 PDT. Explore each zip-code area’s weather analysis and the modeled effect of that atmospheric column on radio propagation.

Temperature and relative humidity are High-Resolution Rapid Refresh analysis fields at 2 m above ground level; HRRR assimilates real-world observations, but the values shown here are gridded model analyses rather than direct measurements in each zip code. Precipitable water is HRRR’s native, model-terrain-aware entire-atmosphere PWAT diagnostic; an independently terrain-clipped pressure-stack calculation is used as quality assurance. Wet delay and radio-frequency fields use the full available pressure-level stack clipped to local terrain. Rain is the hourly mean of Multi-Radar Multi-Sensor 2-minute precipitation-rate frames. Wet delay and 22.235 GHz attenuation are simulated zenith paths; 12 GHz rain attenuation uses circular polarization at a fixed 30° elevation. Rain attenuation is evaluated for every native grid sample and 2-minute frame before each zip-code-area mean is formed. No satellite orbit, ephemeris, antenna, link budget, or in-region RF measurement validation is used.
